My wife Mary and I have been property owners in the Tahoe Basin since 1975.
We owned our first three homes in the South Lake area, due to the presence of family there.
As our family branched out, over the following decades; so too, did our horizons in the Tahoe Basin.
We fell in love with first, the West Shore in 1994, where we met Chuck Day and his father Max, at the Max Day Real Estate Office.
Max at the time, was about to retire, and Chuck was being handed the reins.
Chuck Day became our agent on the buying and selling of two fine properties. He also became my brother’s agent in 1996. My wife and I have never looked back or felt the need to do business with another realtor, especially when we purchased a home on the North Shore in 2012, based on his knowledge of the area.
Chuck’s strong points in those transactions was his capacity to swiftly act on our wishes, likes, dislikes as well as be acutely aware of those qualities of our properties; that were so very important to us.
His ability to hear our concerns, whether during a tedious “looking for property process” or when guiding us through a “buy” as well as, enthusiastically supporting our selling goals, when those times came, always led us to a happy and profitable outcome.
For my wife and I, that’s just plain GOOD BUSINESS PRACTICE.
Now, Chuck’s son Will has become an associate in his father’s office carrying on the proud tradition of Max Day Realty.
Will worked with Chuck on our last sale and possesses the youthful exuberance and vision that will keep Max Day Realty well versed to move forward in the ensuing years.
For any who choose Max Day Realty for their real estate needs, it is certain that they can be assured of professional, extremely knowledgeable, friendly and helpful service for a truly delightful Tahoe experience.
Chuck holds dual licenses in California and Nevada. He is a well-respected member of The Lake Tahoe Realtors Association and the entire Tahoe community.
